About Chiropractic.

As musculoskeletal practitioners, chiropractors provide qualified, effective treatment to promote health, alleviate pain and improve your quality of life. Chiropractors complete at least 7 years of post-secondary education to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. A chiropractic degree program averages around 4,500 hours which is comparable to that required by medical students. The BC College of Chiropractors requires that all licensed chiropractors complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years to maintain their expertise in the field.

Chiropractic treatment is very effective for treatment of many types of musculoskeletal issues (muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, etc). Our chiropractor utilizes a range of treatment techniques such as spinal manipulation, soft tissue techniques and specific rehabilitation exercises.

Your first chiropractic visit will include a thorough history and examination to establish a diagnosis for your condition. You will then receive a report of findings to explain the nature of your condition and a treatment plan. This may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription and education.
